I hold a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.), and I believe that well-resolved things end up being beautiful on their own. I do not start from aesthetics: I start from understanding what needs to work, who will use it, how the space will be lived in, or how the brand will be used. When that is properly thought through, the aesthetic emerges almost as a consequence. If adjustments are needed afterwards, they get made. But first it has to truly work.
I studied at the Universidad Andina del Cusco, and since then I have worked on residential, commercial, urban and interior design projects. Also in graphic design, which ultimately follows the same logic: understanding what you want to communicate and making sure it is done right.
One of the projects I care most about is my final degree project: a library for Cusco. Not because it is academic, but because I believe this city deserves a space where reading, studying and sharing together is genuinely enjoyable, designed from scratch with that goal in mind. Another that fills me with pride is smaller but more real: the Aywi counter, which I designed and supervised until I saw it built.
Outside of work, I enjoy music, whether passively listening to my favourite artists or actively playing instruments or singing. I love learning new things; I believe that if you dedicate time and enthusiasm to anything, it can become genuinely enriching for your life.
